Boston Logan's safety in question

You hear the horror stories of near misses on the runway. Of flights touching wing tips, just missing each other in the air, or coming within feet of each other on the runway. Not all near misses are simply mechanical problems...it can be miscommunication between air traffic control and pilots, poor visibility, or simply overly-crowded skies. Now, after a very recent near miss on Boston Logan's runway ( one of over a dozen similar incidents in the past year), the FAA is investigating the safety aspects of Boston Logan Airport.
