One of Richard Branson's airlines has lost a case based on ageism. Virgin Blue, a low cost airline in Australia, has had a ruling come down against them, stating that they discriminated against a group of female applicants that ranged in age from their mid-30s to their mid-50s.
The interview process literally included a song and dance, and the affected applicants said that Virgin Blue was primarily interested in young, attractive applicants.
