The Relaxing Airport Experience

Sunday July 30, 2006

How can you relax at an airport...what with the constant announcements flooding the gate areas, the buzz of baggage belts, and the beeping sounds of security. It isn't easy to escape the bustle and noise-filled flow of the airport setting but there are ways to get away, even at an airport.

The Guide to Spas has a list of airport spas operating in the United States in Canada, for a tranquil space without missing your flight.

Plus, there are airlines that permit access to their lounges - for a fee - such as the Admiral lounges run by American Airlines.

And some airports even offer museums to pass the time before your flight, like the one at San Francisco International.
