Airfare Specials this Week
Tuesday January 9, 2007
2007 is already starting off as a great year for airfare specials. There are lots of deals to be had, and some of the specials even apply for flights until nearly the end of the year. January is a great time for spring sales in particular, and this January is no exception. So here are just some of the deals in the crop of airfare sales on this week...
Midwest Airlines is having a systemwide sale with travel dates into September. You must book by January 16 in order to get airfares such as Minneapolis to Toronto for $89 one way, and Milwaukee to Fort Myers for $84 one way.
El Al has put flights to Israel on sale in a big way. You need to be a member of their frequent flyer program to qualify but these are small price tags to fly there. New York - Tel Aviv starts at $499 roundtrip.
Lots of exceptions to this deal, but it is a great deal - Cathay Pacific's All Asia Pass. 21 days of travel in Asia, plus your flight from select U.S. cities to Hong Kong for $1399.
Alaska Airlines has 2 new routes coming up out of Portland, Oregon this fall, to Boston and Orlando at $198 roundtrip. This one needs to be booked by February, but could easily sell out before then.
Keep checking the Air Travel Forum for additional airfare specials, including ones with Qantas (Australia), Air Canada (International flights), and Oasis Hong Kong (London route).
