Winter Weather Hits...Again

Saturday March 17, 2007
So much for the Groundhog Day predictions of an early spring. Another bout of winter weather has hit much of the United States and Canada. Depending on location, a messy mix of freezing rain, to accumulations of snow have poured out of the skies and have led to several cancellations.

Many of the cancellations occurred starting early Friday morning - my 5am start at the airport already had a departures board filled with delays and canceled flights. As with other storms this winter, airlines are flexible with changing your flights, you may not get exactly what you want, but it is important to check now through the 19th to see if your flight is still on track.
