Tuning in to Airport Theme Songs

If you thought that theme songs are limited to television shows, or movies, you may be surprised that some airports even have their own signature tune. An entertaining read in USA Today decided to look at some of the airport theme songs that exist. I don't know if they are all MP3-worthy, but I will say it definitely prompted several "who knew?" thoughts of my own.

So here are a few of the airport theme songs you can listen to online:

• Destination Frankfurt - Gateway to the World - Frankfurt Airport City - This tune is definitely in the good old rock and roll form.
• Los Angeles - LAX has a real country tune.
• Sochi Airport has the 2014 Winter Olympic Games' theme song on its site - so perhaps it squeaks in as an airport theme song too.
• It may not be the official theme song of Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport (YYZ), but Canadian band RUSH wrote a song about the busiest airport in Canada - YYZ.
