Luggage Fees and Holiday Air Travel

Saturday December 20, 2008
bag There are still several busy days ahead at airports around the world. Luggage restrictions and free allowances vary a fair bit between some of the airlines. There are even several that have NO free checked in luggage allowance. In some cases, if you pack too much you can pay more for you bag than your seat. There are also embargoes on excess luggage for several airlines, depending on destination, where you can't even pay to have more luggage checked in.

I have compiled the rules for a few dozen airlines to give you some packing guidelines. Just in time to wish all of those celebrating a happy holiday season.
