Earning Bonus Miles - Until Mid-June

Several airlines seem to have decided that simply offering cheap airfares, and sale after sale, is not enough in this economy. This is good news in particular for those trying to accumulate as many miles, and status miles, for their air travels.

Indeed, a few airlines have really stepped it up and are offering double frequent flyer miles for pretty much all of their routes! So if you are flying in the next few months, you could really rack up a lot of extra mileage for free. Often, it's just a particular route, or several routes with mileage promotions, but this time, almost anyplace goes.

Which airlines are offering the mileage deals? Continental Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines. The double mileage promotion runs until June 15. If you are a fairly frequent flyer, this could get you to the elite status with your mileage program much faster this year.
