What is swine flu? How often do airlines clean or disinfect the filters that recirculate the air on a plane?

(2) Jeanette says:

Since the airlines don’t clean the blankets and pillows after each flight just repackage them, I doubt that they clean the filters very often. The air is so dry and recirculated I get off sick when I fly on a flight longer than 6 hours. Maybe this will change some things for the better. We can only hope.

Planning to travel to Miami soon. Is there any rules about swine flu associated with travel to Miami? Just curious as it is on coast and close to Mexico. Any concerns or information to share, greatly appreciated.
