It's been a while, but I have flown on a South American airline that had bingo on board their flights, and would give a free flight to wherever the airline flew (flew within the same country only). It didn't cost anything to play bingo, and seemed to engage passengers in some inflight fun.
Now, Ryanair has decided to take a gamble with a veritable inflight, online style casino. It is anticipated that the airline will provide some inflight gambling options in 2007. But it won't be some free, frivolous, get-everybody-involved sort of thing.
