The language of travel and air travel
Monday May 29, 2006
Travel to Europe is especially popular from June until September. And it is always a handy thing to know a few words in the native language of the country you visit.
Air travel also has its own language, which although it may not be useful in a foreign land, you never know, it may come in handy if you start hearing airline workers using industry lingo. I have a fairly extensive dictionary of air travel terms (feel free to share other, clean, terms if you see that they haven't made the list).
And foreign language words and phrases that could be useful for your travels from the Guides at About - French Pronunciation and Audio files (French Language); Italian Language Audio Lab (Italian Language); Spanish for Travel (Spanish Language); German Travel (German Language); Greek Language resources (Greece for Visitors)
