US Airways has upped its offer in its bid to take over Delta Airlines. Now it seems that US Airways may not be alone in its interest in Delta. Rumored interested airlines include United Airlines and Northwest Airlines, with Northwest emerging as the real contender against US Airways' bid. Delta Airlines has for the most part, been sticking to a stand alone plan.
