Guide Review - The Waist Pouch or Fanny Pack

Fanny packs (waist pouches) have long indicated that someone may be a tourist. However, a fanny pack can be a great way to avoid carrying a small back pack for day outings. A number of models will allow you to store your maps, documents, perhaps even a snack. Packs worn on the outside can be vulnerable to theft, rigging them through belt loops or tucking straps under clothes may reduce this potential problem, proving that fanny packs can be a useful travel accessory. Waist pouches worn under the clothes may not carry as many items, but can discreetly allow you to have your documents with you. One of the possible drawbacks is wearing such pouches close to the body can leave the pouch feeling a bit moist at the end of a travel-filled day.
