Approximately 1 in 4 of those polled avoided travel immediately after September 11th. Less than ten percent of the respondents avoid travel a year later.

Immediately after September 11th, 2001:

  • 26.8% avoided travel
  • 73.2% did not avoid travel
A year after the events of September llth:
  • 6.4% avoid travel
  • 93.3% do not avoid travel
Judging from this poll it would seem that air travel is firmly on the road to recovery.
