I recently was at Toronto Pearson and indulged in a Tim Horton's soup and sandwich deal for just over $6 Canadian (approximately $5 USD) I got a chicken salad sandwich (all white meat) on a toasted whole wheat sandwich roll topped with tomato, lettuce and honey dijon mustard. The deal also included soup (I had minestrone), and either a coffee or a canned drink (I had a diet Pepsi). Seriously good value, reasonably healthy fare (according to the nutrition calculator on their site I had 500 calories and 12 grams of fat), and packed to take on board.
Tim Horton's also has an even less expensive sandwich combo - for about $1.50 less instead of soup with the sandwich, you can have a donut or muffin and a drink.
The prices are fairly consistent with their non-airport outlets, and when you think of how pricey it can be to dine at the airport or inflight, the deal seems to really be about one of the best ones going.
Plus, both the soup and sandwich were really tasty!
