Here is what Tran wrote about air travel in Vietnam - "The second airline handling domestic air travel in Vietnam is Pacific Airlines, which is owned by Vietnam Airlines but offers slightly cheaper flights.

Ticket prices for domestic flights are fixed according to distance. Though, there are discounts for advance purchase (with restrictions), late night flights, and student and senior fares.

Pacific Airlines handles certain domestic routes, including Ho Chi Minh City-Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City-Danang, Ho Chi Minh City-Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City-Hue. These domestic flights are available everyday at various fixed times."
