Give it to the Virgin brand to make flying a unique experience. The narrow aisle becomes a catwalk, and the pajama party / fashion show enjoys a unique venue at around 30,000 feet.

Virgin America seems to keep promising to be different from other airlines, and a Victoria's Secret pajama party is certainly a way of distinguishing Virgin America from the rest of the pack.

Virgin America and Victoria's Secret have toted it as the "first ever in-flight PJ party and fashion show aboard a regularly scheduled flight". The flight, where the attire was encouraged to be anything but business wear took off from New York's JFK to Los Angeles' LAX on November 28.

Serving as co-hosts on "Runway Angel," (the Virgin America plane named by the Victoria's Secret models) were supermodels Selita Ebanks and Miranda Kerr.

The PJ party was an in-flight runway show in the aisle, and a way for passengers on the flight to get a preview of the night-time fashions as the busy holiday shopping season begins. Passengers were encouraged to get into their sleepwear for the flight.

There were some freebies on the flight, including PJs and cosmetic totes filled with travel sized beauty products. And a few passengers received "supermodel" makeovers.

Although the flight itself isn't included in the broadcast, the popular Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is set to air Tuesday, December 4 (10:00 PM ET/PT), on CBS.
