American Airlines latest, summer appropriate promotion

American Airlines has come up with an appropriate summer theme to earn you miles with their frequent flyer program. Buy water and add miles to your American Airlines account! So drink up, and watch your miles add up...

American Airlines and Dannon Natural Spring Water are offering a joint promotion running until Sept. 30, 2006 that helps customers earn AAdvantage miles in a new way. When customers purchase specially marked Dannon 500ml 15-pack water bottles, they can receive 100 AAdvantage miles from American Airlines.

As record heat hits many parts of North America this summer, bottled water sales are already soaring. So why not take AAdvantage of it and stash some extra miles away towards a future vacation?

American Airlines says that more than five million 15-packs will be distributed carrying the AAdvantage promotion at several retailers throughout the United States. You will need to collect five proofs of purchase and a redemption certificate that is located on the bottom of the package. The 15 packs are set to be sold at the price of 12.
