It is nice when one article sparks another on the same topic, to really complement and complete it even more. This is what happened when I wrote about a great guide to the air travel experience put out by the United Spinal Association, and which is download-able from their site.
Mobility International USA sent along a really well-researched, straightforward feature on air travel tips for people with disabilities. What I like about it is not only does it have lots of practical tips such as advising the airline in advance of any mobility devices that may be brought along - but it also includes a certain degree of non-specific advice such as being prepared and flexible for difficult situations that may arise.
Tips also cover different disabilities from visual and mobility ones, to non-apparent disabilities.
Air Travel Tips for People with Disabilities from Mobility International USA is a quick and practical read, and easy to recommend.
