Kayak always has a pretty good selection of airfares. It's a good starting point if none of the specials below apply for your travels.
If traveling out of one of the world's 30 busiest airports then you can check out airfares to dozens of destinations.
AirTran Airways sale. Book by November 10. One way airfares start at $39. Travel dates continue through mid-February. Several blackout dates in November/December and January.
Sample Airfare - one way airfares start at $39 out of Baltimore.
Swiss International Airlines sale to Europe. Especially nice thing about this sale is they include all taxes and fees when quoting the price so you know your bottom line before going through the whole booking process. Book by November 11. Travel by March 31, 2010.
Sample Airfare - roundtrip New York / Lisbon - $592 including all taxes, fees and surcharges.
Package deal to Turkey. Book by November 11. Pretty great deal - nearly 2 weeks of travel, airfare and lots included. Hotwire Travel Ticker found this deal:

You'll get a flight from NYC (other cities available), first-class hotel stays, transfers, 18 meals, sightseeing tours, and entrance fees per itinerary. Air Canada International sale from Canada. November 12 is the book by date. Some variation in travel dates depending on destination, but most are - now to mid-December and early January until the end of February. Roundtrip purchase required.

Sun Country Airlines special. Book by November 11. One ways start at $49. Travel dates vary by destination but most are until February 17, 2010. Some blackout dates apply.

Hawaii flight and hotel from $399 . "Get a complete trip that includes a flight to Oahu, Maui, or Kauai and a 3-night, upscale hotel stay from $399*. Longer stays are available. Travel on select dates, Nov. 9-Dec. 10, 2009; Jan. 11-25, 2010."
$399 Dublin package - from Hotwire - Travel ticker - "A flight to Ireland, a 4-night stay at the Regency Hotel in Dublin, and a full Irish breakfast daily is now starting at $399*. Travel December 1, 2009-February 11, 2010. Other dates through May 31, 2010, are slightly higher."
Asiana has its routes from the United States to Asia on sale. No specific book by date, but complete travel by November 30.

CheapOair has flight/hotel packages on sale. No specific book by date but good deals for destinations such as Hawaii and Dubai.
