Stuck without a plan on Valentine's day, and you want to do something special? A helicopter flight can prove a unique and romantic option, and can even be affordable. Or you want a unique experience for yourself, and have James Bond visions of taking to the air in a mighty rotor machine.

A flight in a helicopter just may be the vehicle to take to the skies and experience a ride very different than what an airplane can offer. Here are just a few helicopter flight options for the romantic, adventurous, or those seeking a slightly different flight path:

  • Is now the time for that (1st, 2nd, etc.) honeymoon in Las Vegas? Hover over the fantastic lights of the Vegas strip, or take an excursion to the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon. A few of the companies that offer Vegas and Grand Canyon flights are Vegas.com Tours, Papillon, Everything Las Vegas.
  • For those who are having some California dreaming, helicopters can whisk you away on a tour of many parts of the state. You can see San Diego, the Pacific Coast, California Vineyards or heli-camping, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
  • Many say that Niagara Falls is the honeymoon capital of the world. After soaking in a heart-shaped jacuzzi, you can see Niagara Falls by helicopter.
  • Hawaii is flush with spectacular vistas and touring by helicopter is one way to access volcanos and beaches.
