Air travel enthusiasts young and old may enjoy a gift that is related to the airlines or flights in general. You can buy an airplane that moves, or a flight attendant doll. Air travel themed toys may be one of the few ways to always have fun with the airlines. All of the items ring in at less than $25.
UNDER $20 - Continental Airlines Airport Play Set with Play Mat looks authentic so it's an option for a collector of air travel items, and a set that can be used for a lot of imaginary air travel.
UNDER $15 - "These fun Push N Go planes have lights and realistic take-off sound. They also have free moving wheels and come complete with their own stands."
UNDER $20 - Not only is the doll all dressed up in her uniform, but what I like about this doll is that the carrying case doubles as a backpack. Kind of like two gifts in one.
UNDER $15 - As above with the Southwest Airlines doll, not only is the doll all dressed up in her uniform, but what I like about this doll is that the carrying case doubles as a backpack. Kind of like two gifts in one. A little more unusual is that this doll sells for less than the low cost airline's version...
UNDER $15 - I don't know what kind of sound this soft airplane makes, but this American Airlines plush toy may induce hugging of an airline's plane.
UNDER $10 - This toy is compact enough that it could be brought on a plane to play with. It features jet sounds and flashing lights.
UNDER $20 - Westjet Airlines Bump & Go Airplane Toy is modeled after one of the Canadian airline's planes. It's described as "When they hit an object, they just spin around and go in another direction. Working lights on the cockpit, wings and beacon. The engines spin, too!"
UNDER $20 - The Air Tran version has the same features as the Westjet toy mentioned immediately above.
UNDER $20 - If you know a child who would like to be a pilot someday, then an official-looking, child's version of a pilot hat is inexpensive and may make a nice gift.
UNDER $25 - Now that Delta Airlines and Northwest Airlines are one, items like this may become real collectibles as Delta Airlines will slowly phase out the Northwest Airlines name.
