Travel Around Asia - Malaysia

By , About.com Guide

TravelGator came up with the idea of trips to different parts of Asia. They looked at approximate airfares from Beijing, and included a few other pointers. Malaysia is the focus of this quick trip tip.

Airfares were found using the TravelGator flight search tool. Airfares are for one person return in coach.

TravelGator suggests doing some of the following in Malaysia while you are there: "we recommend starting in the cutting-edge metropolis of Kuala Lumpur, before hopping over to Borneo to hike Kota Kinabalu, a World Heritage site for rain forest trekking, mountain climbing. The country also counts many great beaches, amazing diving and snorkeling on some close-by islands; or you can go into the interior to the orangutan rehabilitation center, do whitewater rafting, caving, etc."

Roundtrip flights from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur are under a thousand dollars on Malaysia Airlines.
