Travel Around Asia - Phuket

TravelGator came up with the idea of trips to different parts of Asia. They looked at approximate airfares from Beijing, and included a few other pointers. The popular Thai destination of Phuket is the focus of this quick trip tip.

Phuket is a popular destination for those headed to the islands of Thailand. TravelGator suggests the usual hiking, swimming and diving.

For the more adventurous, they suggest you hire a guide and go elephant trekking - $37 per person.

Or you could hop on a speed boat for a tour of Phang Nga - $123 per person.

Travel to Phuket from Beijing is a bit more of an ordeal - 10 hours on a plane and about $1200 roundtrip.
