Shanghai - An Easy Getaway from Beijing

TravelGator came up with the idea of trips to different parts of Asia. They looked at approximate airfares from Beijing, and included a few other pointers. The sprawling Chinese city of Shanghai is the focus of this quick trip tip.

Airfares were found using the TravelGator flight search tool. Airfares are for one person return in coach.

According to TravelGator, Shanghai is a city that is growing pretty much before your eyes.

You can see the city on foot - $105 per person for a guided tour.

You can take a fast trip on the ground on the 500 kilometer per hour (300 miles) Maglev train ride in from the airport - starting at $69 per person).

Beijing to Shanghai is a short two hour trip by air. Airfares between the two cities are about $250 to $350 return on a number of Chinese based airlines.
