Here's how the deal works - Purchase a EuropePass online for $199 - you will receive an email confirmation including 4 inactive EuropePass codes for your future online bookings. You will need to send Air Berlin a copy of your existing booking from the United States or Canada to Germany/Europe by email or fax in order to qualify for this deal. After verifying eligibility, your EuropePass codes will be activated and you can book away!
Once booked you will receive an e-ticket by email.
What I like about the deal - the price is great, but I was worried that each flight would require a return to Germany, where Air Berlin is based. However, they do have a few non-German airport options, for example Vienna, Austria.
They have a route map on the same page as the offer so you can test out a combination of 4 possible flights. I used the map to create a mock-up itinerary of 4 flights. So I came up with the following four flights
- Berlin - Moscow
- Moscow - Vienna
- Vienna - Barcelona
- Barcelona - Berlin.
I can't attest to how open the flights are and what dates are available, but this is really one of the best flight pass deals I've seen within Europe for a long time.
Must purchase the pass by July 31, 2010 and must complete travel by October 31, 2010.
